From I-75 (Chrysler Freeway)
- Take I-75 to Exit 53A for Warren Ave toward Midtown.
- Head west on Warren Ave for approximately 0.5 miles.
- Turn right (north) onto Woodward Ave.
- Continue north on Woodward Ave for about 0.6 miles. Our treatment facility will be on your left at 4454 Woodward Ave.
From I-94 (Edsel Ford Freeway)
- Take I-94 to Exit 215A for M-1 / Woodward Ave.
- Head north on Woodward Ave through the New Center area.
- Continue south on Woodward Ave for approximately 2.5 miles toward Midtown.
- Our treatment center is located at 4454 Woodward Ave on the right-hand side.
From I-96 (Jeffries Freeway)
- Take I-96 East toward downtown Detroit.
- Merge onto I-75 South and take Exit 53A for Warren Ave.
- Head east on Warren Ave for 0.5 miles and turn left onto Woodward Ave.
- MHD Helpline is located at 4454 Woodward Ave, approximately 0.6 miles north.
Transportation & Parking
Parking
Free on-site parking is available for patients, visitors, and family members at our treatment facility. Additional street parking is also available along Woodward Ave and surrounding side streets. An accessible parking area is located directly in front of our main entrance.
Public Transit
Detroit QLine: Our facility is easily accessible via the QLine streetcar, which runs along Woodward Avenue. The nearest QLine stop is the Warren stop, just a short walk south of our center.
DDOT Bus: Several DDOT bus routes serve Woodward Avenue, including Routes 53 (Woodward) and 498 (Woodward Express). Our treatment center is a brief walk from multiple bus stops in the Midtown corridor.
Airport Transportation
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is approximately 25 miles southwest of our facility. We can coordinate transportation from the airport for patients arriving from out of state. Please call our admissions team at (231) 405-5559 to arrange pickup.
